Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD)
Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) is a by-product of the refining of crude palm oil. It is rich in free fatty acids and is widely used in the manufacturing of soaps, detergents, and in the oleochemical industry. PFAD is also a feedstock for biodiesel production.
